She was born in Antalya in 1977. She graduated from Antalya Anadolu High School in 1994.

After graduating as a Medical Doctor from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2000, she completed her specialization training in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital between 2000 and 2004. After serving at Istanbul Bayrampaşa State Hospital until 2007, she continued her work at Antalya Medikalpark Hospital from 2007 to 2015.

Since September 2015, she has been working as a Specialist Physician at Fizikalya Medical Center.

She is the wife of Orthopedic Surgeon Op. Dr. Volkan BALCI and is the mother of 2 children.
