She was born in Artvin in 1973. Graduated from Adana Girls’ High School in 1989. After graduating as a Medical Doctor from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1995, she completed her specialization training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic between 1995 and 2000.

Between 2000 and 2023, she worked at Private Andeva-Medstar Yıldız Hospital.

Since July 2023, she has been working as a Specialist Physician at Fizikalya Medical Center.

She is married to Radiology Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergin Sağtaş. Their son, Alper Sağtaş, is continuing his university education.
